A Body That Remembers: Power, Grace, and Feminine Healing!

There are stories we tell with words. And there are stories that live quietly in the body. This week at The Round Table, I’m inviting you into a conversation that asks for slowness, presence, and care. A Body That Remembers: Power, Grace, and Feminine Healing is not about fixing or resolving the past—it is about honoring what has been carried and allowing truth to be felt without force. Many women grow up witnessing strength that is expected but rarely named. Mothers, grandmothers, and caretakers move through life with remarkable endurance—holding families, responsibilities, and unspoken grief with little rest or recognition. Alongside this inherited resilience lives another truth: the widespread experience of violence against women, and the ways it shapes bodies, nervous systems, and inner lives. In this episode, we explore healing not as erasure, but as restoration. Healing is not the absence of scars. Healing is the return to wholeness. We reflect on how memory lives in the body, how silence can protect and also delay healing, and how power and grace are not earned after survival—they are inherent qualities that have always been present, even when obscured. You’ll be guided through an embodied grounding practice using Hakini Mudra and a simple affirmation: “I am a woman of power and grace.” This is not about positive thinking. It is about alignment—life force moving freely again through what was once constricted. Reflection questions are offered gently, not for immediate answers: Where have you witnessed women carrying pain in silence? When has silence served you, and when has it asked to soften? What belief about women’s power are you ready to question or release? These questions are meant to be held with care. To name what has hurt us does not bind us to the past. It restores agency to the present. Thank you for being here, for listening with presence, and for honoring the wisdom your body holds. You are not alone. Your power is real. Your grace is enduring.
