In this episode of the Round Table, we continue the conversation about otherness—the ways people can feel separated or categorized because of race, gender, ability, sexual orientation, background, or identity.
But many of the barriers that shape these divisions do not only exist in society. They often begin within us. Our perceptions of others are influenced by internal stories formed through upbringing, cultural conditioning, and generational beliefs. Sometimes these inherited narratives create discomfort or misunderstanding when we encounter difference. When we pause to look inward with compassion and honesty, we begin to break those inner barriers.
