As women, we find ourselves in relationships (career, marriage, friendships, family) that either give us so much or take so much out of us. Life feels heavy sometimes and we all carry loads figuratively. We often decide to wait things out before taking a step towards our freedom and empowerment for one reason or another. But waiting is not a winnable plan! I see opportunities and ways of expressing our power from within.
Indigenous wisdom teaches that to transform and thrive in life, we must also connect and share our stories. In sharing, we uplift each other. We are moving into a new era where we must step up. Our children are dependent on us to create a better world for them. Consequently, we'd be able to live with passion, compassion, humor and love--for ourselves, community and Mother Earth!
